Releasing the 7th chapter of Grappler Baki / Baki the Grappler entitled “Shinshinkai Grandmaster Orochi Doppo“. Thanks to Magrana for supplying the raws.
I already had this chapter half made, which is why I was able to release it this quickly since chapter 6. Don’t expect future release to be as swist, as I will be pretty busy with Comic Party, but I’ll try hard to keep the ball rolling.

Hiya, just thought I’d let you know, my translator and I (known as S Jump Forum) were working on quite a lot of baki, she has left the team and we need a new translator, I did the scanlating typesetting and cleaning. My translator ended up doing:
chapters 1-46 all translated
chapters 47-81 mostly translated
chapters 178-185 all translated
I was going to advertise for a new translator, but if you would like to help me to finish 47-81, we could team up and share credit, but it’s totally up to you ^_^

@Shane: This is ironic, I was just thinking of visiting your site to check up on whether or not you were continuing with Grappler Baki.
It’s not that I don’t want to, but the thing is, I’m becoming so pressed for time that I’m thinking of quitting all together. Between work, personal life, and organising a giant convention, I haven’t had much time to scanlate, as obvious from my slow releases. In two months, I’ll be going back to school to finish my bachelor’s, so I’ll have even less time then.
In short, teaming up with me is just gonna delay your releases, which isn’t really cool for you and it makes me feel pretty guilty. So while I appreciate the offer, I think it would be better for you and fans of Baki, if you found someone with more time on their hands. So sorry, but thanks anyway.
What little I continue with will be solely for a recreational purposes (so crazy slow), and I don’t expect people to download or read them. Best of luck to you with Baki though c:

Yeah no problem man :) I definitely get you with being pressed for time, that’s the reason I haven’t released chapter 12 for so long even though it was completely translated.
Hopefully I can find a translator and we can speed through some releases, it’s a huge shame that Baki (well the manga) was never licenced, but I suppose none of the publishers saw a market for it :/

It was actually licensed for 49 or so chapters, but the magazine it was in was discontinued (poor sales, I think), and the licence was finally dropped some time ago.
I’m currently pushing to have it published in Denmark, since I think it’ll hit well with the male 14-21 demographic.
