@Myles: Yeah, I also find it kind of odd that the entire first series was just skipped.
@Anonymous: Nope. They’ve translated “New Grappler Baki”, which is the sequal, “Hanma Baki”, which is the next sequel, and some other stuff that is loosely related. They’ve never translated the first series, “Grappler Baki”, nor are they working on it (according to their project website).

Sorry, don’t really know where you can get them. There have been some on nyaatorrents in the past as previews, but beyond that I wouldn’t know.

@Myles: The 8 chapters on onemanga are unfortunately ‘joke scanlations’, in the sense that most of it isn’t what the characters are actually saying, but heavy exaggerations and randomly made up stuff done for joke effect.
Even the parts that aren’t made up to be funny are kind of inaccurate :/ This is why I decided to start from chapter one instead of going straight to the second volume.
But thanks for the effort of searching though ^^ Let me know how the torrent works out.

Well, not my type of manga but nice translation work my friend. But man I laughed at the drawing at the end. Reminded my of a wobble head. Maybe I should take your advice and start translating as well.

Hey, not the same anon, thanks for the translation, I didnt know the first 8 or so chapters elsewhere were re-writes, well, there were signs like the narutard stuff, but whatever. I’m looking forward for this stuff to come out, for some reason, I can find the chapters from 56 and up, but nothing before that.

@anonymous: Ya, apparently, there -is- a group that’s been translating Grappler Baki for a while, but you have to join their exclusive club, which is only open for new members for one week every year, to read their releases and you have to pay a lot for it.
Someone “snuck out” volume 7 and 8, I think it was, and uploaded them online. I’ve read them, and while there are occassional errors, they’re pretty close to how I’d translate them, so I’m probably gonna skip those two volumes.

yeah, the only volumes I can find online are 7-9, out of 42 volumes I think it is, idk if that includes the 2nd and 3rd story though.
