Sometimes, people have the most insane skillz, so here are a few videos of that. For sake of understanding, I’ve added the most important key points next to the first video since it didn’t have notes or subs.
For the video on the left!TV Special in 2007: Cut down 1000 rolled up tatami mats in 36m 04s 2008: got a Guinness World Record when he achieved 7 cuts at suegiri (cutting a single tatami mat several times without it falling over or not cutting all the way through). He attempts to beat the record in the video. last challenge: cutting a junior baseball ball (i.e. a rubber one) flying towards him at 120km/h while unsheathing and cutting in the same single motion. |
