If you’re old enough to be aware of the world, you’ve probably heard about the Earthquakes in Japan. Unless you are overly angry bigots with a completely pointless grudge, like most of these people, you’d like to help out, but you’re not exactly sure how. This is where this post comes in~
If you are an avid iTunes user, Apple has recently added software to allow registered users donate between $5 and $200 to American Red Cross by clicking the appropriate button. If you don’t use iTunes, you can instead visit this page on causes.com and donate there.
You can also donate directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society instead, via Google’s Crisis Response project. If you are struggling for cash or want to donate something in between the offered amounts on causes.com, then use this, as you can enter the exact amount (in Japanese Yen) that you want to donate rather than just press a button.
If you love playing those ~Ville games on Facebook, Zynga, the world’s largest social gaming company that is behind those games, have made it so you can donate money through the games themselves. All proceeds from the purchase of sweet potatoes in CityVille, radishes in FarmVille or kobe cows in FrontierVille will go towards Save the Children‘s efforts to provide relief in the Pacific.

If you, however, are broke or, like me, in debt, there are other ways to help. You can spread awareness of how to donate on Facebook or add the HelloBar to your website, so your visitors can help donate. Do your best to help the rest c:
